No, that’s not the expected result. Searching for a category name should return all the posts in that category.

Have you rebuilt the index after adjusting the settings?

What do you get if you search for “batizado” in the Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search)?

    Hi @msaari ,

It also shows up the same two results: https://imgur.com/a/VHj6d8I

I am talking about the woocommerce product categories (I´m not sure whether this has an impact)

No, it doesn’t make a difference that they are product categories: a category is a category (well, a taxonomy, to be exact).

Have you rebuilt the index after adjusting the settings? If this doesn’t work after you rebuild the index, then there’s something wrong with your site as Relevanssi doesn’t somehow see the categories properly.

Just rebuilt the index (I clicked on the build the index button and not on the index unindexed posts and still the category does not show up.

    What else should I do?

You shouldn’t need to do anything else. That’s all it should require; it should just work. There’s is something unusual on your site that’s not working as expected.

Can you check the wp_relevanssi database table? Choose a post that’s not found with the product category, take note of the post ID and then search for that ID number from the doc column in the wp_relevanssi table. That should show you all words Relevanssi has indexed for that post. Is the product category mentioned?

Unfortunately there’s little I can do here without having a closer look at your site.

Where can I find the database table?

In your WordPress database, usually you can access the database with phpMyAdmin or Adminer.
