How to include a hyperlink in the “To String” | WordPress.org

I’m trying to ‘search and replace’ a text string with a hyperlink. I have tried simply copy/pasting the link into the To String and also copying and pasting the link’s HTML there, but neither seems to work. No change is seen on any page where the From String exists. Can this be done? If so how?

I have a screen shot but can’t figure out how to “paste it here”. How is this done on this Forum form? Can I just email it to you?

You can upload it to any cloud site and share the link…For example dropbox, google drive

Hi,

Can you try to replace a smaller part of the string to see if the search & replace is working at all? If it is, then probably the string in the settings doesn’t match exactly the string on the frontend (please make sure there is no additional spaces or other hard to see the difference.
