    Hi @floflothe1st,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    You have to enable the 3rd party section in the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin settings page (admin area) and insert the GA scripts to the head part of the 3rd party script section. After the settings is saved and you are done with the plugin setup, you have to remove the hardcoded GA scripts from your theme / plugin (ExactMetrics used on your site).

    Hope this helps.

    I am having the same issue. I have the 3rd party section enabled and the Analytics code is in the header section, however it does not seem to be appearing when the cookie banner is closed. I am not aware of a GA script that is hardcoded into the theme however it is in another cookie plugin that is deactivated. Does it need to be removed from there?

    Nevermind. I found the answer to this issue.

    @mooveagency thank you for your help!

    @mooveagency & others,

    Hello after testing several WP-gdpr plugins I ended here:) and not sure if I’m with the same problem as with similar cookies-control plugins. The question is is there problem in the way of its functioning with the static cached pages, so have to ask @mooveagency – how does this plugin handles mentioned third party .js? As per instruction I’ve created snippet in header section at third-party setting tab, still after testing the inserted snippet the .js is not present in the page code nor in the cached .js , while with the inspecting Networking(FF) storage cookies terminal – it is happening set/unset cookies with the chosen options as intended. Could you please explain what is the way of script adding/removing third party scripts, nonce/ajax(?) I’m quite tired after numerous try-outs to examine this here scripts functioning and to ensure it fully works.
    Regards and thanks for providing this solution

    Hi @n381,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    Our GDPR plugin injects the scripts using AJAX and postscribe, so once the visitors accept the cookies, all the defined script in the GDPR Settings page (3rd party / advanced cookies sections) will be injected to the relevant section of the site (head, body, footer). By using this method, you don’t have to worry about the caching plugins as these are loaded via AJAX. You can’t find the injected script in the view-source page, you can only see the script in the inspect section of the site.

    Read more about the code not visible in source code issue in our FAQ section.

    Hope this helps.
