Yes, why not? Just change your domain’s nameserver to the newly selfhosted nameserver and your domain will be pointed to after 24 hours of propagation.

If you are talking about while importing content into WP with same custom domain, then you can change the host file of your system. Or you can use firefox add-on (i.e switch-host).
So that you can import all the content into WP from blogger blog and after everything is done from your side, you can make WP blog live publicly instead of blogger blog with same domain.

The major problem I am facing now is: The internal linking that I’ve done in the blog post earlier … those links doesn’t works now. Since I have to change the URL structure now, is there a way that I can re-direct the older links to new ones, or on a page which is active.
