How to implement options page for theme in WordPress ?

    I want to make a theme’s admin page. Now I want to gave the user the option to set the categories (5) for front-page.

    I want to gave the option to them to upload a logo and other 5 slide image through that panel.

    Someone can help me. I have very few knowldge of PHP and WP. I want to make it better.

    Do I need to make form and parse $_POST. For multiple checkbox’s fetch how to do same.

    Someone guide me how to start building these stuff.
