Support » Fixing WordPress » How to: Image Slider in Harmony Theme by Elegant Themes

  • Hello,

I am trying to put an image slider on the main page of a site. The problem is, the site does not have a page in the so I am editing the code for the media that will be seen at the top of each page.

    I used this shortcode: [slider]

I also installed plug ins however, this made no difference to the image actually moving.

But it does not do anything with the content. Can anyone help me? Does anyone know how to code in a image slider even if this is not in your theme feature?

It would be a big help

You can ask the guys who you bought the theme from.

I already tried putting a plugin and it did not work. I downloaded Smooth Slider and chose the correct option for the right images and nothing happened.

Good idea, glad I already did that and now I am asking any WordPress enthusiasts who might have an idea of where to go from here by using a code or plugin, instead of buying additional features.

Unless we want to pay for the theme to understand the code, we’re not going to be able to help.

You don’t need to buy this theme.

I just need to know how to implement code onto an image that shows up as the header of every page on the site. I installed plugins already and nothing happened to the image. I know the theme is capable of this as I read the forums and asked the creators already.

I think with any theme that is capable of being edited with code, you can add plugins to your media (images etc), without having to edit the appearance of the site through the default themes panel. I know the code is not just [slider] in the content box, tried it already, so I am asking if any one is using a particular .php or css code to create a slider.
