    Hi everybody,

I created a new role and it works almost fine. I only didn`t find out how to hide the welcome-panel oder disallow the button “Customize” (custom.php).

Tried already with classes, ids etc.. But it`s still accessable.

Does anybody has a hint for me, please?

    BR,
    DieSpeedy

The welcome panel is only possible via custom options. Add a custom option with ID #welcome-panel to the ‘Dashboard Options’, ‘Your Own Options’. The left textarea need a name for the option, like ‘Welcome Panel’ and the right textarea the selector, the ID#welcome-panel. Now save the options and you find a new option in the area of ‘Dashboard Options’. Active the checkboxes for the role, there should never seen this panel.

    Hi Frank,

    thanks for your responds.
Unfortunately the Welcome-Panel is still available after I followed your instructions. 🙁

Any idea, why this doesn`t work anyway?

You have right, I’m sorry. Please add this currently to the global options, same steps.

But the next release will support this, it is now implement in the dev version, you get it from GitHub if you will test it – https://github.com/bueltge/Adminimize and load only on the dashboard page, no load on other pages of the back end.

    Hi Frank,

    perfect, now it works! 🙂

Btw. for me it would have been helpful to know, that the ID should be inserted with an ‘#’. Maybe you`ld like to insert a hint in the table for others?

I can’t add this. This # is a result of the selector from CSS. In this case is it a ID, not a class. But CSS have much more selctors and each is possible.
