    Thanks for using Mission News!

    You can use the following CSS to hide the site title in the footer:

    .site-footer .site-title {
      display: none;
    }

    Please copy & paste that code into the “Additional CSS” section in the Customizer (Appearance > Customize), and it will take effect right away.

    Hello Ben,

    Thank you so much for your prompt reply.

    Is there any way to hide the ” Posts published in ” [category name]?. Or to remove the bold font at least?
    How may I include a drop down menu in the secondary menu like the Nutrition menu from the Daily Health News demo?

    thank you in advance,
    Carina

    Sure thing!

    In the Customizer (Appearance > Customize), click on the Show/Hide Elements section, and then select the Archive section. You’ll see two options there and the first can be used to hide the Archive Title which contains the “Posts published in” text (screenshot).

    Check out our menu tutorial for Mission News. There’s a section on creating drop-down menus there.

    Thank you!

    How did you do so that the page “Nutrition” is not blank if you click on it, an instead it shows the content of its child menus?

    Thanks
    Carina

    On the demo site, there is a Nutrition post category and I’ve added that category to the menu. That category has two child categories (food, diet) and I added them as sub-menu items using the same steps showcased in the tutorial.
