# How to hide posts?

 * How do you hide posts? like this site [http://www.animefuel.com/category/a/ah-my-goddess/](http://www.animefuel.com/category/a/ah-my-goddess/).
   I like how their’s a summary up the top and rest is links to posts. How can I
   do the same like that site?

 * Hi Ruriko,
    Not all themes come with a category page template, often people don’t
   need them. You can easily create your own though , just be sure to name the template
   based on the category number it will be used for. For example a unique template
   for category number 3 would be called “category-3.php”.

 * I replaced the_content to the_excerpt it hides the video but it didn’t hide the“

   Why didn’t it hide that part?

 * The website/blog you mentioned in your first post has none of them. They use 
   only the title – no excerpt, no content on the cat template.
