How to hide post edit screen languange meta box ?

    I need language metabox at post edit screen, hidden from subscribers and contributors users roles in a custom post type.

    Subscribers and contributors have access to backend and to that specific post type to make/edit posts. The content of those posts will be further translated by human translators or editors whoom must have again the language metabox shown.

    Polylang currently does not support user roles. i.e if a user has the right to edit posts, it has the right to edit them in all languages. If you need this, then you will have to create an extension.

    The metabox is added in the function add_meta_boxes defined at line 241 in admin-filters.php

    Luckily I didn’t have to create an extension for this. I got this working using Adminimize plugin. The specialty of this plugin is exactly hide things at backend by user role.
