# How to hide plugin version number when view source

 * Below is the line which is there before the meta tag starts

 * I am using a free version of the plugin. By any chance can we hide the version
   number from the above line. Since our security team mentioned to remove all version
   numbers available in plain text.
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * There’s no way to do this. Keep your plugins up to date and you should be fine.
