[resolved] How to hide Dashboard and Profile links after logged in (7 posts)

    After days of research and try, I finally find that this plugin works for my site . All others claimed the "best" but not work under WP 3.8.1. My purpose is to create a download page for my users only and I'll create user accounts for them (user name & password). Therefore, I don't want the users to access their Dashboard and Profile after logged in (see image). I understand that you must answered this question many times. Unfortunately I couldn't fine the right solution after several hours search. Could you please kindly to answer one more time?

    Another issue is how to make Widgets more compact. Something like this.

    Thank you very much.

    Enable the "User Links" from TML Settings. There you can customize the available links for each type of User Role.

    If you remove them, they will not appear on the logout page.

    Thank you, websherpa. I got it.

    copy the code bellow on your function.pfp file that will do the trick it works for me .

    if (!current_user_can('manage_options')) {
        remove_action( 'admin_footer', 'wp_admin_bar_render', 1000 );
        remove_action('wp_footer', 'wp_admin_bar_render', 1000);

        function remove_admin_bar_style() {
        echo '<style>body.admin-bar #wpcontent, body.admin-bar #adminmenu { padding-top: 0px !important; }</style>';
        }
        add_filter('admin_head','remove_admin_bar_style');

        function remove_admin_bar_style_frontend() {
        echo '<style>html{ padding-top: 0px !important; }</style>';
        }
        add_filter('wp_head','remove_admin_bar_style_frontend');
        }
