Support » Fixing WordPress » How to hide a page from visitors?

  • Hello. I’d really like your help.

I have a certain page which I do not want to be public to visitors anytime.

I have a form where visitors can write and when they hit the submit button they are taken to that page that says something like: “thank you, we received your message”.

So in other words I want that page to be available to visitors ONLY when they are redirected to it after their submission.

I’m new to wordpress and I’m not familiar with coding, so is there any plugin that could do that?

    Thank you 🙂

Sometimes forms use the same page; when the form has been successfully submitted the form itself hides and a Thank You message is displayed.

Are you working with a form plugin at the moment?

Yeah, the one I use does not have that option unfortunately.

Which plugin is this? You’ll need to raise this support topic in the plugin’s subforum.

I already asked, they haven’t replied yet.

Do you think there is a way to achieve that though?

I do think there’s a way to achieve it, but the answer strongly depends knowledge of the plugin that you’re using.

    The plugin is:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/accesspress-anonymous-post/

I’m using the premium version. I already asked on their official support forum.

My first question still stands though, as it has to do more with the functionality of wordpress, being able to hide a page from public but still have it there for them only by redirection of the submit button.

That depends on what you mean by a “page”. Is it a static HTML file (see how we’re talking about plugin functionality already)?
