• I need to have separate settings for my desktop and mobile themes. Theme switching works using WordPress Mobile Pack plugin where I can select a mobile theme to be used when a mobile device is detected.

Now the real problem is that the desktop version is using a static page for Homepage, while at the same time I want my mobile theme to have Reading->Front page displays->Your latest posts

I planned on having different static page selected for mobile theme, where I’d somehow have pulled desired posts but changing the page itself for one theme obviously changes it for the other one as well.

Is there any way to accomplish this? I’d even hardcoded it if I knew the exact location where I can override it.

Any help will be highly appreciated!

  • Have you looked at WPtouch

With it’s free version, you can set the home page redirect to any page (note, that page can use a custom page template, which could be a loop of posts)…the paid version allows further customization (and the dev.’s even provide custom themes).
