    Hi,

I run a music website, which has articles on over a 100 different bands and each article is tagged with the bands name.

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to create an index of the bands using the tags. So far I can only get all the tags on one page split into columns, which can be seen here http://www.addictmusic.co.uk/a-z/

What I ideally want is to have a multi-page index, which will group the pages alphabetically, with an alphabetical navbar at the top.

So all tags under A would be on one page and all tags under B on the next and so on.

I have tried the A-Z index plugin, but it doesn’t split the pages by letter or use the tags properly

If anyone can help I would be very grateful

    Thanks

Maybe you should make a plugin: Alphabet Tags – for example 🙂

By all means if someone wants to wrap it into a plugin, they can, but really it’s not worth it, the code is more suited to a page template .. (no hooks or functions).

The plugin for fonts you use was interesting to see, not sure i’d ever use it (bit too heavy, but interesting to see it in use)..

    Happy blogging … 😉

unfortunately those plugin (replacing the text with my own font) is the only possibility to use my font on blog so everybody else could see it too. 🙁
    but, it’s working and i’m glad. 🙂

You might want to consider cufon, if not only to compare the differences.

    Information about cufon:

Pretty much does the same thing i think.. 🙂

well, i guess cufon almost the same.

Scouse84 just wanted to ask you how did you create a artists page.

    My website is

http://www.gospelofdoom.in and u can check the bands page and it has this list of bands.

I similarly want to create a list of bands alphabetically and each band name linked with their information and details. How did you do it.
