Support » Themes and Templates » How to have a header graphic and a title tag?

  • Hi,

    I installed a header graphic on my blog:
    http://www.productlaunchsolution.com/
    (the white image with pink text)

    When the image was installed I removed the blog title and description in the settings as the graphic was supposed to replace the text.

    However I have since realised that in doing so the site does not have a title tag, so in search engines the title is simply:
    |

    I have added a title and description to show you why I don’t want it (the yellow and black text below the header)

    Is it possible to still have a title tag, yet not have the blog title and description show up on the blog?

    Thanks so much

    using css, you could add these following styles to custom.css of your theme:

    h1.site-title { text-indent:-9999px;}
    .site-description { visibility: hidden; }

    or

    h1.site-title, .site-description { visibility: hidden; }

    or

    h1.site-title, .site-description {display:none!important;}

    (this last option would also reduce the space where the title was)
