How to go live?

    Hi Elvin,

    In the gateway settings panel where you input your sandbox API credentials there are also separate fields for live API credentials. Make sure those are filled in and then all you have to do is uncheck the “Sandbox Mode” option.

    With Sandbox Mode disabled and live API credentials filled in correctly you will officially be live!

    Hi,

    Thanks for reply. Looks everything is is Live Mode right now.

    However, if I want to perform a test on the Live Mode. Does it mean I need to create real product purchase and use a real credit card to test it? Since I tried the Sandbox account but already not valid. Thanks.

    Yes, to run a live test you’ll have to charge an actual credit card. Some people like to create a $1.00 test product for that purpose.

    That’s the whole point of the sandbox, though. It mirrors the live servers, so if everything is working as expected in the sandbox you can rest assured it will work the same way on the live servers.

    I personally never run “live tests”. I see that as an oxymoron. 🙂
