[Resolved] How to go back to 3.7.1

  • Since installing and reinstalling 3.8 I get the following error message when I try to save a changed menu:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home3/grayspe/public_html/houstonhomeinspectorreview.com/wp-content/plugins/wpsearch/WPSearch/Backends/Phplucene/Zend/Search/Lucene/Storage/File/Filesystem.php on line 160

    I am not having this problem with any of my other sites none of which run 3.8.

    Can I go back to 3.7.1 and if so, how?

    @esmi

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Actually soon after I posted the original issue I noticed that the error message referred to a plugin named “WPsearch”. I deactivated it and that solved the problem.

    I appreciate your help.

    I have recently purchased a theme Inovado from Themeforest. When trying to install it an error message comes up “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”
    Any ideas how to resove that.
