    Hello!
I have a question about how to set a condition for a custom taxonomy:

    – The whole site is devided in two sections, with two different menus. The setup with ‘conditional menus’ worked like a charme, thank you!
    – I created a custom post type with two custom taxonomies via CPT plugin.
    – Now I want to set one menu for posts with category A and the other menu for posts with category B.

I see the option “In Categories” and “Taxonomy” in the conditions field of your plugin. >> what’s the difference?

I also see my custom post type and my custom categories in the conditions field.

But when I select category A for menu A and category B for menu B, it doesn’t work.

Does this have to do with slugs? When I hover in the conditions field over the categories, the slug looks like this:
    https://xyz.com/custom-category/category-a

but my posts slug looks like this: https://xyz.com/custom-posttype/post-name

Do you have an idea how to solve this?

    Thank you, Angie.

    Hi,

The “In Categories” are for posts within the selected categories, so if you select Category A it will affect all posts within the Category A, for Taxonomies it will affect the actual Archive of the selected Taxonomy.

If your settings are not working, please post a link to the category page in question, so I can check your menu.
