I’m not familiar with that theme. Is search.php set to show the_excerpt in that theme?

actually it shows disabled but when I enable it I can get the images0 of course I have to add 373 HTMLS, but I’m happy to see the images in search! That was such a help! Thaks so much!
Are you saying that in the Memoir theme there is a way to enable/disable the images? I can’t comment on that because it is not a free theme and I don’t own a copy of it. I assume it works fine in the Twenty Eleven theme.
