How to get rid of white background beneath homepage post

Hey there,

Sorry, I’m new at this.

I’m having trouble making the white background of my homepage transparent, showing the background image beneath. I’ve set the page content’s background as an image. I’m trying to get the heading and text and contact form of the page to display on top of the background image, without the white background which is obscuring it.

It may help to understand by seeing the page. The site is http://milliondollarswebsite.com/

As you can see, there’s a background image beneath, but it’s blocked by the white background of the post or something. I want this white bg made transparent somehow so the post’s words and contact form show on top of the background image. Can this be done only using the Custom CSS plugin?
