Support » Fixing WordPress » How to get rid of some white space?

  • Hey! My site is http://gameandgamer.net — I want to get rid of the white space underneath my banner. I am using the zeeDynamic theme and I have modified it quite a bit (hence the custom image in place of site title). I feel like the fix shouldn’t be too hard, but I am totally inept at CSS and HTML. Thanks.

Your header has padding on four sides per the zeedynamic stylesheet. I’d start there.

Thank you this solved it! I’m really new at this and I really appreciate the help.

You’re quite welcome, and glad you worked it out.

Your new best friends will be the web developer tools in your browser. I think most of the main browsers have them now: Firefox, Safari, Chrome… If you don’t see them in a menu, you may have to enable them via a preference panel or such. Firebug is an excellent add-on browser extension as well. Using one of these, you can diagnose tons of things (CSS, javascript, site-loading issues, etc.), sometimes by just clicking on the page element in question, as with your css trouble.

    Good luck.
