Good day everyone! I hope someone could help me. Whenever I check the donation form in the front end, all textboxes are fine except the email field that always has a default value. I checked the Give settings well and even uninstall the plugin many times but I always face the same problem.

Although the user can delete the default email, whoever it doesn’t look good. I even replace the email to connect@lccbacoor.org which is related to the site but it didn’t work.

I hope that this only a matter of configuration that I can’t figure out. Not part of the limitation of a free version.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @rye26wp

    I’m happy to clarify here:

That is being pulled from the credentials of the logged-in WordPress user at the time. GiveWP tries to reduce friction on the donation form as much as possible during the donation process, so any information that can be pre-filled (like the name and email address of the logged-in user) is pre-filled.

To simulate how Give looks for non-logged-in users, we recommend using an incognito browser window.

I just checked your site, and for me (as a logged out user) it does not pre-populate the email address.

Let me know if that resolves things, or if you need further assistance. Thanks for using Give! Have a great day.

    Hello @benmeredithgmailcom

Yeah, the pre-filled email is gone when I log out.
Thanks a lot for your help!
