How to get Pages to appear on navigation bar below header in one row

Hello!

I just started a new blog: http://foodiebaker.com and am using the theme Suffusion. I would like to have a navigation bar below the header but above the posts for my pages. When I added the Pages widget into the “widget area after header”, the Pages are displayed in one column. I want them to appear side by side. Is there anyway I can get around doing it?
