I have an issue with one of the moderators on this forum. He recently flagged my account which means that all my posts are now delayed 72 hours before being reviewed/approved.

How do I make my side of the argument heard? The moderator does not give me any space to argue his decision. Does WordPress have an arbitrage channel for such cases?

It started with a thread I posted on in which I was providing an answer based on a plugin I wrote. The thread in question hasn’t been answered in 9 months because the author has abandoned the support. In fact this is one of the reasons why I wrote and published my plugin in the first place.

    The moderator left this note,

@aurovrata A good way to get yourself marked as a spammer is to promote your plugin via 9 month old topics.

Although I agree in principle, I think there is room to debate the flagging of my account.

Had someone else written the post it wouldn’t have been flagged as spam.
This 9 month old topic hasn’t been solved.
I wrote my plugin specifically to answer this type of issue, it is entirely free, there is no pro/paid version, so I gain nothing here.

Surely the best person to judge if this is spam or not is the original author of the thread.

You can understand that it is frustrating to see one’s sincere effort branded as SPAM.
