Can you provide me with a link? My Calendar doesn’t alter the title of your page in any way. Although the default page created will have the title ‘My Calendar’, if you change it, it will change to whatever you want.
Are you using any caching? If so, did you clear the cache after making the change?
Thanks, Joe! Based on what you said, I don’t understand why I saw what I did. I created the post with the title “Church Calendar” before I pasted in the My Calendar shortcode. So it doesn’t seem to make sense that the title went to the default.
I’m not using any caching right now, and I deleted my browser cache just in case.
I panicked and switched to the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin. I deleted the original calendar post and created a new one for this plugin to use.
I’ll try My Calendar again and report what I observe.

At a guess, you ended up with two separate pages; one at /my-calendar/ and one at /church-calendar/ with your info, and one with the default settings.
You can check whether you have a page called ‘My Calendar’ in your Pages, and that would indicate it. All you’d need to do is delete the default page and update the settings in the My Calendar settings for the My Calendar home url.
Sure enough, there was a “My Calendar” page (not post). I deleted that page, because I need the calendar in a post, not a page.
I fiddled around some more, and now the above problem is solved. I’m not sure what corrected the situation, but I’m pleased with the result. Thanks again for the help.
