How to get from the folder to the internet?

    Hello, I having issues with getting WordPress from the folder to the internet. Let’s say for the sake of this issue i’m computer illiterate. The folder is still zipped, and I want to know how to unzip it. From there what else do i do? I primarily use Google Chrome for my internet needs. Please, please help me. It is very important to me that I learn how to use WordPress and use it quickly.

    Hello, Just download winrar and then right click on your wordpress file then click extract you wordpress will be unzipped.

    just delete it from your server – no?

    Hi jaztheninja, have you been able to make any progress on this?

    Do you already have a hosting account? If you already have a hosting account then your web host may have documentation in their support center on how to install WordPress using the manual method. Most likely however they have a “1 click” installation method that doesn’t require that you configure any databases or upload any files, and that will be much easier.
