how to force posterboard links to open in a new window

My url is chandni.org and I am trying to have the default posterboard open the event links in a new window

i followed the instructions on http://help.time.ly/customer/portal/questions/472366-target-blank

But that does not seem to work for the main posterboard on the home page URL.

Do I need to edit CSS for this to happen?
Also how Do I make the entire box for one event on the posterboard clickable. Currently only the event title is clickable
