How-to for creating second blog on a new domain in order to use with MLS

Hi there,

I have a blog in german language. I set up now the multisite thing, and installed MLS. My second blog should mirror the first one in english language via a different domain name. For that I use the domain mapping plugin.

Now, question is how best to proceed. Should I export my existing website, create a fresh wordpress site on the new server, and import the export-file from there? Or re-start from scratch only and add the translated article one by one? There are cloning plugins too, which I could use.

I guess I have to “Add New Site” with a link to the other domain name, too?

Thanks for any hints.

BTW: Actually, I haven’t yet understood how the MLS deals with images which is to be used on the two blogs. Do I have to upload it two times? Or just linking to the server it has been uploaded to?
