How to fix this characters

    I am having the same problem. I do not understand why my blog posts are showing up with odd characters. My config.php is set to UTF8 also.

    WordPress experts any idea?

    Are you entering your posts directly or are you cutting and pasting from Office Word or like source?

    Have any of you had any luck with this? It’s driving me crazy having spent several days many hours each day I’ve gone from bad to worse. Each time the database is restored it adds even more garbled code.

    Does downgrading to the previous version of WordPress solve this I wonder?
