Support » Themes and Templates » How to fix CSS Caching (.css?ver=1)

  • Hi everyone,

I’ve come across this before and I know it’s css caching but I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how to fix it.

The theme I’m using is uDesign, which houses custom.css in a subfolder.

When I inspect element, it’s pulling up a .css?ver=1.0 and no changes I’m making to the actual CSS are updating on the site.

Can anyone help? Thank you in advance:)

  • If I understand your problem correctly, this is kind of funny because you accidental answered you own question without realising it: you need to flush/clear the catch.

If you are using a child theme you need to flush your catch in the Cpanel, otherwise there should be a default plugin installed that lets you flush the catch in its options. If not you can install one.
