How to find tags.php and category.php?

    Using the editor within wordpress isn’t always the best thing. I would recommend using FTP to get the files to and from your server. Contact your hosting company and create an FTP user and login, and get your files that way,

    I think those files renamed with different names on twenty sixteen.

    The Twenty Sixteen theme uses archive.php for all category-, tag-, and date-based archives. Your best bet is to make a child theme, copy archive.php to your child theme’s folder, rename the child theme’s copy to category.php or tag.php, and edit that file.
