    Hey there.

Simple question: is there a way for me to know which one of my dynamic sidebars is in use at the moment? I can’t seem to find a way to do it.

    Thanks,
    Eduardo

Why not just add widgets to one of them and see what the changes are on the site?

    Hi,

If you do not add any widgets into the sidebar then it will display default dynamic sidebar of the theme..otherwise it will display your added widgets in sidebar on your blog…

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

you can look for the condition tag being used in sidebar.php. Check what is the condition for which sidebar..

No, that’s not the case. The problem is that I have a widget and this widget depends on which one of my sidebars is in use (if my sidebar for archives is active then do something; else do other stuff).

Also, it’s not a is_active_sidebar() problem, I think, since this function seems to return true if my sidebar has any widget on it.
