How to extend my custom background color across the full width of the yelp bar

Hello,
I love this plugin (and Yelp), but there is a problem. The yelp bar uses my custom background color (awesome!), but the color only extends from the beginning to the end of the text on the bar. That leaves the rest of the bar white on either end of the text, out to the edges of my browser window. And that looks really, really bad. Please tell me how to extend my custom background color all the way across the yelp bar from one side of my browser window to the other.
I’d be very grateful for an answer.
