How to export ?

Hello,

I am new with the WordPress environment. I’m wondering what I can export and how, and I cannot find a clear answer on my questions online.

I installed WordPress locally using WAMP. I have the project to create a forum using either BBpress or Asgaros Forum to an existing website made with WordPress.

Is it possible to create a whole WordPress website using plugins locally, export it and then import on my hosting service?

I find different answers online, and I am not sure if it applies to my case. If I understood it well, WordPress can natively export/import contents but not the structure/appearance? I might have to use an export/import plugin to transfer plugins as well?

I might use the existing website as a base, but I’m not sure if I’ll be given direct access to it. Also, I’m not confident to directly edit it, and I want to avoid any problem.
