How to exclude unwanted plugin URI from Google’s index

    Hi there!

    Once Google Search Console said us: several links by Wordfence were indexed via Google though I used Disallow directive in the “robots.txt” and specified such URI in the settings of plugin All In One SEO Pack (XML Sitemap > Excluded Items > Excluded Pages). So these links look like: https://domain.com/?wordfence_lh=1&hid=B7C72B71ABC1CBCFF51F8843B79949DF. I’ll very appreciate you for any assumptions about causes of this issue.

    I am sorry but I am not sure I understand what your questions is.

    Is it you are trying to disallow google bots from indexing your site?

    No, I’m trying to disallow from indexing only URIs (with parameters) from Wordfence plugin (these links look like this: https://domain.com/?wordfence_lh=1&hid=B7C72B71ABC1CBCFF51F8843B79949DF). And Google Search Console writes: it’s strange – robots.txt must exclude these links from indexing…

    Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    I checked your site on google for any indexing.

    site: yourdomain.com "wordfence"

    I get no results returned but if I just check site: yourdomain.com I get all of your pages. This looks like its working correctly.

    Are you seeing these URLs in your console? If so, that’s normal behavior.
