You want a “fluid” or “liquid layout.” There are some fluid templates, a few you can find. I prefer that style, also (it is hotly debated). Here is an example 3-column fluid template: “Spirit”

I’d prefere a liquid layout using my theme red-train

The “layout” is part of the theme. You have 2 options: hack the theme until it looks like you want it or, take a full-screen theme and make it look like you want.

I think I will practice this on a test-install of Kubrick. I will take the approach, hack the Kubrick theme to have a 100% or fluid-width liquid layout.

I know that I will be working with the CSS, and I will need to modify the Kubrick background graphic in Photoshop. That’s about all I know so far.

Any hints, or knowledge of an exisiting liquid-Kubrick variation?
