Hello! At this time we do not have a user authorization check. Chat is always available, regardless of whether the user is authorized or not. One of the possible reasons is the cache. Try clearing the cache on the site. Also make sure you have the widget visibility settings correctly and that you are checking on pages where it is enabled.
Thanks a lot! For your quick response. This is important!!! It’s just that I don’t see the icon in incognito mode in Chrome, but when I’m logged in on the sat, the icon appears. Where can I set the visibility of the widget? I didn’t include it with a shortcode.
You can find the setting in the admin dashboard -> Site Chat -> Visibility tab. For the test you can select Entire Site. Also, don’t forget to clear the cache on the site. You can also try adding some parameter to the url, e.g. https://your-site.com?test=1.
This means the problem is in the cache. Remove the cache in your caching plugins.
Thanks so much for your help earlier! It worked perfectly, and I feel silly for not figuring it out myself. 🙂
I have another question about using the plugin:
- Problem with replies: I installed the plugin on my website and configured everything. It worked well initially. Then, I changed the API Key and the Telegram bot’s username. Now, messages send correctly from the website, but when I reply to those messages in Telegram, the replies don’t show up on the website’s widget. It’s like the replies are not being received.
- Caching issue (WP Rocket): I had to disable my caching plugin because it was interfering with the chat. I’m using WP Rocket. What settings or exclusions do I need to add to WP Rocket to prevent the chat from being cached? I want the chat to work in real-time.
Could you please help me with these two issues?
Hello! Sorry for the long reply.
1. You have to Activate Webhook again on chat settings page
2. This plugin should not interfere with the work of the chat widget. Just delete all the cache. If it doesn’t help, try changing the script combine and minification settings
