• Hello,

I love Grigora Blocks and Grigora’s kit.

The problem is that when the table of contents is activated, it is visible throughout the site.

Is there a way to enable table of contents only in single posts and not in pages and archives ?`

  • Hello @chris1511 ,

Glad to hear that you like our theme and plugin.

I’m sorry, you cannot do that right now. Thank you for creating the issue. I’ve added this feature request as a priority and can expect this to be added in a week. Until then, I’m keeping this ticket open and will inform you once we add these features.

Just to be clear, is there anything apart from the following features that need to be added?

    – Able to select where you should add TOC (posts, pages, etc).
    – Should be able to remove TOC from any specific page via meta settings.

    Regards,
    Pratik

    Hello @pratikkinage

Thank you very much for considering my question as a feature request.
That’s really very professional of you. 🙂

I can’t wait to test this feature.

And, since you ask me if I do not wish something else.

I may have a suggestion for you:
Create a table of contents block.
So we could put it wherever we want. 😉

What do you think of that?
    Is it possible ?

    Regards,
    Christine

Yes, you guessed it right! We have another Table of Contents Block in the roadmap, and will be added soon (It’s expected to be added in the 1.4 update scheduled in the last week of November.)

Then you can add TOC wherever you want, even in sidebars :).

Until then, did you check the 1.3 update we released a few days ago? Here’s a changelog of the same – https://wpgrigora.com/changelog/grigora-kit-1-3-0/

    Hello @chris1511 ,

We’ve released 1.3.1, adding the features you requested. My team is faster than I anticipated ^_^.

Now you can select which Post Types you want to include Table of Contents. Plus, a feature adds a meta box (in the edit post window) where you can disable TOC for any specific post you want.
The Table of Content will not be added to Front Page, Archives Pages, Search Pages, or Excerpts by default.

I’m closing this topic as solved now. Let me know, if you encounter any other errors, and I’ll be happy to address them.

    Best Regards,
    Pratik Kinage

    Hello @pratikkinage

    It’s perfect ! 😍
So I have to rewrite part of the article I wrote about Grigora Blocks and Grigora’s Kit before it was published. 😉

Tell your team they’re as fast as Speedy Gonzales! 🙂

    @pratikkinage
Sorry to bother you again, but could you add a way to edit the “Table of contents” title text and “hide/show” in the table of contents?

    It’s in English, and I’m French…

PS : I modified that in the init.php file of Table of Contents, but not everyone will know how to do it, and it might break in the next update…

@chris1511 , Thank you for your kind words,

My team has added the feature you asked for. You can enter the header and show hide text manually. Here’s a screenshot – https://imgur.com/a/g0Xm6s9 (Sorry if we translated French incorrectly in the screenshot. It was just for testing purposes.)

I’ll have to add this feature to the official WordPress SVN until the next sprint run (after 2 or 4 weeks). Unfortunately, I can’t ask users to update the plugin every 2 hours 🙁. So you can update the plugin then once it’s released (after 2 or 4 weeks), or you can follow these steps to add this feature now –

You’ll have to update the plugin by downloading it from https://github.com/latracal/grigora-kit/releases/download/v1.3/grigora-kit.zip . I hope you’re aware of what I mean by updating; let me know if you need help with that.
PS – Updating the plugin from GitHub won’t break the plugin for future updates. We’re only asking you to update manually since we can’t update the plugin in the official WordPress repository.

Also, Can I have a link to the article about Grigora Blocks and Grigora’s Kit? 😄

    Regards,
    Pratik
