    what's up people-

I'm seeing alot of blogs with the rss icons on them, also at the bottom of the these blogs are various icons of companies like reddit, technorati, yahoo, and numerous others.

I was wondering what does these icons do?

How can I put them on mines?

Also on my control panel, there is no place where I can drag and drop widgets.

How can I get these goodies?

    Thanks in advance

For the feed icons you can use FeedBurner, though there may be other ways to get the icons themselves without using the FB service. :)

Not sure on widgets maybe this will have the answers: http://automattic.com/code/widgets/

    Hope it was helpful. :)

    thanks for responding-

I'm using the blix theme, and wanted to know if it is widget compatible???

The reason I ask is because I have a add to my yahoo button plugin installed and activated by default, but I don't see a yahoo button on my pages. Why is this??

I have never used the Blix theme but according to this page it is widget ready: http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_List/Widget-ready

Not sure on the My Yahoo button plugin do you have a link to it's page? Is there any code you need to add to the sidebar for it to display?

    thanks for the response-

The problem is I uploaded the sidebar widgets file, and activated it, but when I go to presentation> I don't see the sidebar widgets item.

Is there something else I need to do to get it to show??

Actually all the plugins I have installed and activated dont show. What gives??

    Sidebar widgets
    delicious widget
    Yahoo Badge

The Reddit button is the only social bookmarking button that is not working on my blog, any idea why?

    My blog is http://www.designvsart.com/blog

What does this have to do with the thread you're replying to?

Anyway, to answer your question... If you're using a plugin to place those buttons, try contacting the plugin author.
