    Site URL: My URL: http://tinyurl.com/ny4uhbk

I have an html website embedded with the url in an iframe. It looks fine it normal view, and you can navigate to the links within the post, but it’s not shrinking down for responsive views. Is there anything I can add, or is there a better way to do this?

  • The problem with iframes is the content responds to the rules of the source site not the site you’re displaying the iframe on. The source site has no way of knowing it’s being iframed or what size the iframe is, so without some complicated jiggery pokery, this will never work.
The content is simple enough – why not just build it in WordPress?

I’m trying to showcase my web design – these site are html and are already built. I just prefer to embed rather than creating a link.

The site being iframed isn’t responsive so how are you expecting it to be so when in an iframe?
Maybe you can use a screenshot with a pop up of the actual site, but I’m pretty sure iframes aren’t what you need.

    Got it. Thanks.

When viewed directly from the website url that I want to embed, all of the content scales down and is visible in a mobile or tablet. It just won’t do it an iframe. Is there any thing else I can use?

http://lukaska.com/websites/CC/ isn’t responsive. If it were, it should read the iframe width as the window width and respond accordingly (ie scale down).
