Support » Plugin: The SEO Framework » How to Edit the Sitemap?

  • Resolved fh4545

We have launched our new website last week and have some problems with Google, Bing, and Yandex because we in our robots.txt file are blogging for User-agent access to the add to cart, cart, user my-account and checkout

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /add-to-cart/
    Disallow: /cart/
    Disallow: /checkout/
    Disallow: /my-account/
    Disallow: /xmlrpc.php

At the same time, they show up in our sitemap. We would like to remove these four URLs from our sitemap but as we can’t find any place where to edit the sitemap in The SEO Framework. Trying to edit the sitemap in the code we would not like to do without knowing where and how.

    Please help us out.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Hi Finn,

You can remove those pages from the search engine index, as well as the sitemap, via one checkbox:
    “Apply noindex to this Page”

This option is found in the SEO Settings meta box, underneath the content editor of the page, as shown in the image below.

    Visibility for WooCommerce cart

    Hi Sybre,

    Thank you very much.

I don’t know why we overlooked it – had even seen the visibility tab for a few days ago. So sorry for using your time on something so simple.

    Have a great day ahead…
