    Hello everybody!
As you can see in the header there is a huge H1 “Archives: Events”… I tried everywhere but I couldn’t find how to manage that page.

I’m not able to write code, as you probably understood from my question 🙂
I was just wondering if it’s possible to find the page Archive-events and change the setup from there O_o

    Thanks in advance,
    Luca

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Luca,

You should look in your theme files for this title. You can use a plugin like “show current template” to see what template is used (like archive.php or index.php or archive-events.php) and in that file you’ll find a call to something like get_the_archive_title() or the_archive_title(); If you need something special for this archive page, you can use conditionals to filter for post_type or make a copy using a more specific name that superseeds the more general template in the wp template hierarchie.

In twentytwenty you’ll find the code in the index.php file in the theme root folder, if the astra theme has a more specific archive template file you’ll need to look for it there.

The plugin inserts the part below the title only.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers, Hans

mmm… I’ll check it out when I’ll be done with the website!
It doesn’t seams to me easy to do this and I think it’s a little detail, isn’t it?

    Thanks a lot!!
    Cheers, Luca

    Hu @luca-bonardo

This is usually handled by the theme. We do have an article that should help you with that. You can find it here:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/remove-archives-from-calendar-page-title/

    Hope this works.

    Cheers,
    Andras
