    to remove underlining for links is a CSS question.
    Go to your style sheet and find:
    a {text-decoration: underline;}
    Change that for:
    a {text-decoration: none;}

    How to remove the name and date is gonna be part of the HTML in the individual theme files. You’ll have to go through each one and find what’s called “meta” data (different themes will name them slightly differently.

    Find the div with that information inside and delete them.

    @rekkette – what will happen to these changes when the theme is updated?

    @chemind – could you post a link to your site?

    Well, Sure… you should ALWAYS save your theme as a child theme whenever you modify your stylesheet or your theme files.

    Thanks for the code it worked.

    Can we use “.meta entry” code to hide author and date below post title

    Are you using a child theme or custom CSS to make changes? IF not, your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.

    A link to your site would be helpful.
