    I’ve created a new page template for my site. It’s a page without the right hand sidebar.

    I now need to edit, i’m guessing in css, so that the content on this page goes all the way to the right (instead of stopping where the sidebar would normally be).

    The new page template is page-no-sidebar.php. If the content/body area width is 900 and the sidebar was 200, what coding do i need to add to have the content go the full 900 for this page?

  • I figured it out.

    For anyone that needs the info on how to fix this:

    1. after you create your new page template, you need to edit the div that controls the width of your main column. Find this line:

    <div id=”content”>

    2. replace the “content” with “content-no-sidebar” (for this particular instance

    3. add the following code to your style.css (change the name, width, etc to suit your needs):

    #content-no-sidebar {
    width: 900px;
    float: left;
    margin: 5px;

    it worked for me!
