Hey all, I have been on it for a while now. I have wp installed on my server, my website is also running on there.
I want to be able to edit static text without scrolling threw html. I followed every step there is on the subject, but still can’s seem to be able to edit the content. I read the intergrate your website to wp, I tried making my pages templates, but can’t see them in the dropbox. I still can’t see the pages I want to see or edit the text I want to edit, I can only view the site and that’s it. What am I missing/ doing wrong, Many thanks all!!

Aah ok, did not anticipate.. So I’m gonna have to start over buidling the website mainly copy paste, using wordpress so I can use WP to edit the text… I thought you could like sync them or something. I built a website using Dreamweaver and am almost done, I’m just finishing some forms, but I thought I would be able to connect the two and edit the static pages. I find it a little odd that editing external built pages is not possible. Why? IS there a CMS that CAN do that?

Frankly, I don’t think there’s a CMS on the planet that can edit pages that have been created by something else.

Ok, thanks esmi, you just saved me a bunch of time, I should have looked in to that before I started programming. I’m gonna have to start building it in WordPress or think of some other way the content can be managed without having to scroll threw the html pages.

Glad I could help – even if it was an answer you didn’t really want. 🙂
