How to Dynamically Set WP Theme Stylesheet Site-Wide?

    @tamblyne

    I installed the Theme-Switcher plugin and it’s very nice — thank you.

    My WP installation is the “front door” to a bigger site. The theme switcher, of course, only works for the WP portion of it.

    The stylesheets of all of my themes are compatible with the rest of the site — but I don’t know how to make the theme/stylesheet selection global?

    I know a little PHP, but zilch about cookies. Is there some way I can read the WP theme-switcher cookie so the rest of the site can use the same stylesheet as the one in the selected theme?

    Thanks for any help. 🙂

    Okay, after sleeping on this — probably should have done this before I posted 🙂 — I see that what I have to do is write a little script that reads the “wptheme” cookie and sets the stylesheet accordingly for the non-WP portions of my site.

    I guess I’ll spend some time this morning learning about cookies — put it off too long already, I guess — but if any of you guru’s have any ideas, they’d be most appreciated. 😉

    Thanks!
