How to Duplicate/Clone a WordPress Multisite from DEV to LIVE

    One of the listed features on the UpdraftPlus Backup and Restoration plugin is:

    • Site duplicator/migrator: can copy sites, and (with add-on) move them to new locations

    I have poured through the plugin’s tabs here on WP and also searched the plugin’s website for documentation and instructions on how to duplicate a site.

    I have a fully developed, tested and ready to launch site at dev.example.com

    I now want to duplicate it “as is” and launch it publicly as http://www.exmaple.com (or example.com without the “www” cname — which I can handle on my own on my server, no problem)

    Does anyone know of documentation and instructions on how exactly to take a dev.example.com site in WordPress Multisite and make a cloned version of it using the UpdraftPlus plugin or any other plugin?
