How to display user input text in different font (as seen on dafont)

Hi all,

Not sure if this is something that can be done through wordpress, but need some help. I’m trying to create a ‘custom display’ effect on my site, where the user can enter their own text, choose a font and then submit, and the written text is displayed over a static image. dafont uses this effect for previewing fonts, which I’ve used Firebug to narrow down to a php file, but I don’t know enough about coding.

I may be WAY over my head, but can’t see it being that difficult.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
