How to display posts on static page?

    @naervaer23

    My site is this:

    My problem was initially that I couldn’t get the front page to show recent posts, when clicking the frontpage link (front page is called “FORSIDE” (in Danish).

    The posts where there at the opening of the page, but where gone, if I clicked around and then went back to “FORSIDE”.

    I have searched everywhere for a solution and I understand that I have to make the front page static. So I tried this: I set up a new page called “blog” and published it. I set the Front page to static (under Reading) and the Front page to “FORSIDE” and post page to “blog”.

    I also tried to add a blog.php in my child theme with this text:
    <?php
    /*
    Template Name: Blog
    */

    // Which page of the blog are we on?
    $paged = get_query_var(‘paged’);
    query_posts(‘cat=-0&paged=’.$paged);

    // make posts print only the first part with a link to rest of the post.
    global $more;
    $more = 0;

    //load index to show blog
    load_template(TEMPLATEPATH . ‘/index.php’);

    ?>

    But sadly, my posts are gone are not showing anywhere.

    All I want is for my posts to show up, when i type in rikkebruhn.dk as well as when I click “FORSIDE”.

    It might be very simple and I still have a lot to learn, but I really hope someone can help me! Please, any help is much appreciated!
